Variate seeks a visionary Design Director to lead our team in crafting innovative, user-centered designs that elevate brands and drive impact. As a Design Director, you will lead the vision for large-scale projects, overseeing the design process from user research to polished deliverables. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide direct reports, and refine designs through feedback and data-driven insights. Leveraging expertise in design systems, interaction design, and prototyping tools like Figma, you’ll ensure exceptional outcomes while staying attuned to trends and possibilities.

We’re seeking candidates with 7+ years of experience in UX, interaction, or product design, including 3+ years of team leadership. You should have expertise in interaction design, content strategy, and user research methodologies, along with strong visual design and product strategy skills. A clear understanding of development platforms and a proven ability to inspire teams and clients are essential.
