We are looking to hire our first full-time Head of Design. As the sole designer at an 8-person startup, you will be fully responsible for all of our design needs. This includes: art for every article we publish, social media creatives, ongoing branding, ongoing merch design, and ideally ongoing website design as it is needed for updates.

The ideal candidate:
- low ego
- great taste (non-negotiable)
- good range
- fast. (occasionally stories have a 60-minute lead time)
- high agency (you won't need your hand held)

In-person NYC is best; remote okay for outstanding talent.
