WHO: Citizens Bank, Questlove, and Me (or, my team at New York Magazine)
WHAT: A four-part video extension of the Citizens Bank Made Ready campaign. My team scripted, produced, and promoted a series dedicated to Questlove’s pursuit of a non-linear career.
WHY: Made Ready is all about being prepared for whichever direction your life may take. Your path may take a winding road that puts you in rooms you never thought you would be in. Questlove is the embodiment of a non-linear journey, exemplifying that success may take many different forms. Our team found four parts to this must-tell narrative: childhood inspiration, meeting the crew, rising to fame, and leaving a legacy. We partnered with a longtime music writer to tell Questlove’s story in writing, parallel to the visual interviews. Read the article and watch all four videos below.
