Ahead of its first major brand pivot in recent history, Citizens Bank selected Vulture to tap into a new, culture-obsessed audience through a Questlove-fronted mini-documentary video series titled “Made Ready for Music.” Working with Citizens, we created a multimedia campaign that celebrated Questlove’s nonlinear journey to success and beyond: who, what, and where has made him who he is today and who he’ll be tomorrow. This exploration of Questlove’s multi-hyphenate life was the perfect story for Philadelphia-based Citizens Bank, whose “Made Ready” campaign demonstrates how we’re not born into success—rather, we make ourselves ready for success thanks to small defining moments along the way.
