Tea, serve, hunty. These are just some of the words our mainstream culture has adopted, but many don’t know the origins of these words are rooted in Black Femme, Latinx, and drag cultures. We partnered with Merriam-Webster to give credit where credit’s due, and tell the world more about those figures who’ve made our modern, colloquial language possible.
